In 1978 Manny Leaf, Peter Albano, and Donald Saltzman started Albano, Leaf, Saltzman. Before then the three partners were all part of a prior firm but split with the other partners to form a firm committed to the core principals they believed in – hard work, superior client service and respect for fellow partners. The firm started with 12 employees but quickly grew to over 40 within 10 years. The reason such accurate details of the firms early years can be still recited is due to the remarkably low employee turnover our firm prides itself in maintaining. While starting in East Orange, the firm moved its headquarters in 1987 to one of its two current locations in Fairfield NJ. The firm’s other office in New York City was opened in 2011 and is conveniently located near Penn Station.
